MUSTANIR.COM – Penceramah Abdullah Gymnastiar atau Aa Gym mengatakan, aksi damai reuni 212 merupakan sebuah gerakan dari umat Islam di Indonesia untuk menunjukkan bahwa Islam di Indonesia bukanlah Islam yang radikal dan bukan Islam yang intoleran.
“Saya sebagai anak bangsa juga seorang agama Islam, ada satu kepedihan kalau mendengar kata radikal, seakan itu terhujam kepada diri kami, radikal, intoleran mau memisahkan anti Pancasila, teroris, walaupun tidak dituduhkan langsung tapi seakan-akan begitu,” kata Aa Gym di acara ILC tvOne pada Selasa malam 4 Desember 2018.
Aa Gym mengaku heran mengapa Islam di Indonesia menurut dia disudutkan dan diberi label negatif yang akan merusak Indonesia. Padahal dirinya sendiri rela mati demi utuhnya NKRI.
“Demi Allah saya tidak rela bangsa ini hancur. Ada rasa ini tapi ke mana harus bicara ketika ada peluang berkumpul seperti itu maka berbondong-bondonglah berbicara dengan perilaku. Kami bukan perusak negeri ini, maka rumputpun tidak ada yang dirusak. Kami bukan orang yang bengis dan kasar, maka senyuman pun dirasakan. Kami bukan orang orang yang keji maka kasih sayang pun bertebaran,” ujarnya.
Menurut Aa Gym, kedamaian yang terpancar dari aksi tersebut bukan hanya dirasakan oleh umat Islam namun juga dapat dirasakan umat non Islam. Semua jemaah yang hadir ingin menunjukkan bahwa Islam tidak identik dengan radikalisme.
“Saudara kita yang tidak beragama islam bisa merasakan di sana karena memang semua orang ingin menceritakan indahnya Islam yang selama ini merasa dicurigai. Entah siapa bagaimana dan berkumpullah perasaan perasaan ini,” kata Aa Gym
“Ini (aksi reuni 212) tidak bisa di rekayasa hadirin. Saya tidak menduga akan sebanyak ini yang hadir. Ini bukan gerakan tokoh, saya rasa yang datang juga tak begitu tertarik dengan tokoh,” ujarnya lagi. []
