Aksi Teror Pada Dua Masjid di Christchurch, Ini Pesan MIUMI Untuk Dunia
MUSTANIR.com, Jakarta – Majelis Intelektual dan Ulama Muda Indonesia (MIUMI) memberikan pernyataan sikap terkait aksi teror di dua masjid di Christchurch, Selandia Baru, pada hari Jum’at, 15 Maret 2019.
Sekretaris Jenderal MIUMI, Bachtiar Nashir mengatakan sebagai bagian dari negara berpenduduk muslim terbesar di dunia, MIUMI mengutuk pembantaian di Masjid Ai-Noor, Christchurch, Selandia Baru yang dilakukan oleh para teroris biadab.
“Tindakan biadab ini merupakan perilaku yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, toleransi antar umat beragama, dan perdamaian dunia,” katanya dalam konferensi pers MIUMI di Hotel Balairung, Matraman, Jakarta, Jumat 15 maret 2019.
Ia melanjutkan MIUMI menuntut kepada pemerintah Selandia Baru untuk mengusut dengan cepat dan tuntas serta menangkap dan memberikan hukuman seberat-beratnya kepada pelaku.
“MIUMI menyampaikan kepada dunia bahwa teror yang terjadi tidak akan menghentikan semangat umat Islam untuk mendatangi masjid dan animo orang lain untuk memeluk agama lslam,” ujarnya.
UBN melanjutkan, MIUMI mendesak pemerintah Indonesia agar menuntut pemerintah Selandia Baru untuk memberikan jaminan keamanan secara sungguh-sungguh, terutama keamanan masjid-masiid dan umat Islam di Selandia Baru dari tindakan biadab teroris.
“MIUMI menghimbau umat Islam seluruh dunia untuk tetap melaksanakan sholat berjamaah di masjid- masjid tanpa ada rasa takut sedikit pun dengan tetap waspada menjaga diri dan lingkungan,” katanya.
Aksi penembakan di Masjid Al Noor dan Linwood di Christchurch, Selandia Baru terjadi pada hari Jumat (15/03), sekitar pukul 13:40 (waktu setempat) atau ketika menjelang sholat Jum’at. Sejumlah orang dilaporkan tewas dalam penembakan tersebut, meski kepolisian setempat belum menyampaikan keterangan resmi mengenai korban jiwa. []
