Beliau bersabda : “Ketahuilah bahwa masa dunia yang tersisa dibanding yang telah lewat adalah seperti hari kalian yang tersisa ini dibanding keseluruhan waktu yang lewat”. (HR. Ahmad,Tirmidzi, dan Hakim).
Rasulullah Shallahu alaihi wa salam menyinggung salah satunya adalah mengenai bahaya dunia. Beliau menjelaskan bahwa rasa dan rupa dunia adalah manis. Lalu, beliau memperingatkan kita akan bahaya dan godaan dunia. Beliau bersabda : “Maka, waspadalah terhadap dunia karena dunia membawa bencana apabila datang dan menjadikan tubuh kurus bila pergi.”
Seorang penyair mengungkapkan: “Inilah dunia.” Ia berkata dengan lantang: “Hati-hati. Waspadalah terhadap cengkeraman dan pembunuhanku. Janganlah kalian terkecoh dengan senyumku, karena ucapanku menjadikan kalian tertawa, tetapi tindakanku menjadikan kalian menangis”.Lalu, Rasulullah menutup khotbahnya dengan bersabda:
“Ketahuilah, masa dunia yang tersisa…..” Dengan kalimat itu, Beliau ingin mengingatkan kita bahwa dunia, seperti digambarkan oleh Allah Swt, dalam all-Qur’an : “.. Permainan dan suatu yang melalaikan, perhiasan dan bermegah-megah antara kamu serta berbangga-banggaan tentang banyaknya harta dan anak, seperti hujan yang tanam-tanamannya mengagumkan para petani, kemudian tanaman itu menjadi kering dan kamu lihat warnya kuning, kemudian menjadi hancur ..” (al-Hadid : 20).
“Duniamu tidak lain seperti sebuah tempat berteduh yang menaungimu, lalu menyuruhmu pergi”, ujar seorang penyair. Marilah menarik pelajaran dari ini semua.
