Haramkah Potong Rambut dan Kuku Waktu Haidh?

Suatu ketika ada seorang ukhti dalam pengajian para akhwat bertanya tentang hukum larangan ketika berjanabah. Dia bercerita bahwa waktu di masih di pesantren salaf dulu, dirinya dan santriwati lainnya dilarang motong rambut dan kuku saat haid. Dan apabila rambut mereka ada yang rontok, dianjurkan untuk menyimpannya sampai masa haid selesai.
Setelah haid berakhir dan mau mandi besar (janabah), maka rambut yang pernah rontok dan kuku yang terpotong semasa haid harus disertakan waktu mandi. Maksudnya agar ikut dibersihkan juga dengan air.
Pertanyaannya, apa sebenarnya hukum memotong rambut dan kuku saat haid? Apa itu wajib, Sunnah atau bagaimana?
Pertanyaan serupa rupanya juga banyak ditanyakan. Terus terang Penulis belum menemukan dalil yang sharih (jelas) mengenai larangan memotong rambut dan kuku semasa haid. Demikian pula tentang wajibnya mencuci rambut dan kuku yang tidak sengaja rontok saat haid, kami belum menemukan dalil eksplisitnya.
Yang jelas-jelas diwajibkan adalah sebatas mandi janabah, dengan meratakan air ke seluruh anggota badan setelah masa haid selesai. Adapun rambut dan kuku yang sudah rontok sebelumnya, maka tidak wajib dicuci, karena sudah bukan bagian dari badan kita saat melakukan mandi besar.
Bahkan di sisi lain, ternyata Rasulullah SAW membolehkan Ummul Mukminin Aisyah radhiyallahuanha untuk mengurai dan menyisir rambutnya saat Aisyah sedang mengalami masa haid. Padahal dengan menyisir rambut, sangat besar kemungkinan tercabutnya rambut. Coba perhatikan sisir para wanita, biasanya ada saja helai-helai rambut yang menempel.
Izin dari Nabi SAW ini secara tidak langsung menunjukkan bolehnya wanita haidh memotong rambut dan kuku.
Berikut sabda Rasulullah shallallahu `alaihi wa sallam kepada `Aisyah radhiyallahu `anhaa ketika haji wada`:
انقضي رأسك وامتشطي وأهلي بالحج ودعي العمرة
“Uraikanlah rambutmu dan sisirlah, kemudian berniatlah untuk haji dan tinggalkan umrah” (Muttafaqun ‘alaihi)
Dari hadits di atas, maka dapat kita pahami bahwa memotong rambut atau kuku saat haidh tidaklah dilarang. Demikian pula apabila rambut dan kuku kita gugur tidak sengaja saat haidh, maka tidak pula diwajibkan untuk ikut dicuci saat kita melakukan mandi janabah.
Seorang mufti bernama Syeikh Muhammad bin Shalih Al-’Utsaimin rahimahullah berkata:
فالحائض يجوز لها قص أظافرها ومشط رأسها ، ويجوز أن تغتسل من الجنابة …فهذا القول الذي اشتهر عند بعض النساء من أنها لا تغتسل ولا تمتشط ولا تكد رأسها ولا تقلم أظفارها ليس له أصل من الشريعة فيما أعلم
Artinya:
“Wanita yang haidh boleh memotong kukunya dan menyisir rambutnya, dan boleh mandi junub, … pendapat yang dianut oleh sebagian wanita bahwasanya wanita yang haidh tidak boleh mandi, menyisir rambutnya, dan memotong rambutnya maka ini tidak ada asalnya (dalilnya) di dalam syari’at, sebatas pengetahuan saya”.
