Mohammed Morsi Mantan Presiden Mesir Meninggal Dunia
MUSTANIRA.NET – Kabar duka datang dari negeri Mesir. Mantan Presiden yang terpilih secara demokratis, Mohamed Morsi dikabarkan meninggal dunia.
Menurut laporan Al Jazeera, Senin (17/6/2019), kabar tersebut diumumkan oleh stasiun televisi resmi Mesir sesaat lalu.
Disebutkan, Morsi yang digulingkan pada pertengahan tahun 2013 itu sempat pingsan usai menjalani persidangan dan meninggal setelahnya.
Menurut sumber media, Morsi sempat berbicara dalam persidangan selama 20 menit. Ia kemudian pingsan dan dilarikan ke rumah sakit tempat ia menghembuskan nafas terakhir.
Sebelumnya, Pengadilan Kriminal Kairo menunda sesi persidangan terkait kasus spionase dan pembocoran informasi rahasia negara dari hari Minggu (16/6/2019) hingga hari ini, Senin.
Kabar meninggalnya Morsi ini juga dikonfirmasi oleh salah seorang putranya yang bernama Ahmed Najal Morsi. Melalui unggahan di Facebook ia menuliskan kalimat “Ayah, di sisi Allah kita akan bertemu”.
Setelah tidak lagi menjabat presiden, Morsi diketahui menjadi pesakitan dalam tahanan. Sejumlah perkara harus dihadapinya seperti pembocoran informasi rahasia negara.
Sejak setahun terakhir, kondisi pria kelahiran tahun 1951 itu memang dikabarkan kian memburuk.[]
