Pekik Takbir Bung Tomo Getarkan Hati Non-Muslim

MUSTANIR.COM – Pekikan Takbir Bung Tomo dalam setiap pidatonya tak hanya membakar semangat perjuangan arek-arek Surabaya. Takbir bung Tomo dalam pidato-pidatonya melalui siaran radio juga membuat hati non-Muslim bergetar dan turut berjuang.

Tulisannya dalam buku Menembus Kabut Gelap, Bung Tomo mengatakan pada pengumuman Barisan Pemberontakan Rakyat Indonesia (BPRI) pertama kali -setelah bisa mengudara pada 13 Oktober- menjadi moment pertama kali baginya mengumandangkan takbir.

“Sebab kekuatan siapa lagi yang akan kita andalkan, sedangkan senjata tidak lengkap. Lawan kita pasukan Inggris sudah siap siaga memusatkan panser-panser dan kapal-kapal perangnya. Kecuali semangat patriotism, saya kira tidak lain kekuatan kita hanya perlindungan Allah. Perlindungan Allah itu hanya bisa terjadi kalau kita menyadari bahwa Allah itu Mahakuasa. Untuk menunjukan Allah itu Mahakuasa saya kira perlu diresapkan makna ucapan yang selalu menggetarkan jiwa manusia, baik pada waktu perang maupun waktu mendengar seruan azan, Allahu Akbar,” tulis Bung Tomo.

Siapa sangka, pidato-pidato Bung Tomo yang selalu dipungkas dengan pekikan takbir itu menarik perhatian seorang pemuda Maluku yang juga berprofesi sebagai dokter. Siwabessy namanya. Dalam sebuah acara, Siwbessy secara terang menyampaikan kepada Bung Tomo bahwa pekikan takbir tersebut telah menggerakan jiwanya.

Siwabessy pun heran, terlebih ia seorang non-Muslim. Hal itu pun disampaikan Siwabessy kepada Bung Tomo. Siwabessy mengaku takbir yang dikumandangkan Bung Tomo seolah membuatnya melupakan segalanya dan mendorongnya untuk ikut dalam perjuangan bersama Bung Tomo.

“Saya katakan kepada Pak Siwabessy, karena Anda mengetahui apa artinya Allahu Akbar (Allah Mahabesar) itu, maka Anda telah meninggalkan segalanya pergi berjuang,” tulis Bung Tomo.
