Polri Ingatkan Mustofa Nahra Soal Hoaks di Medsos
MUSTANIR.net – Kepolisian menyatakan Anggota BPN Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, Mustofa Nahrawardaya sudah pernah diingatkan untuk berhati-hati dalam menyebarkan konten di media sosial.
Karopenmas Mabes Polri Brigadir Jenderal Dedi Prasetyo mengatakan imbauan itu disampaikan saat Mustofa diundang ke Direktorat Siber Bareskrim Polri karena beberapa unggahannya sebelum akhirnya ditangkap.
“Saudara MN ada beberapa konten yang disebarkan di akun Twitternya, baik menggunakan akun atas nama @AkunTofa dan @TofaLemonTofa itu cukup banyak,” ujar Dodi dalam keterangan pers di Kantor Kemenkopolhukam, Jakarta, Selasa (28/5/2019).
“Dan sebaran-sebaran itu juga beberapa kali sudah diingatkan oleh jajaran dari siber Bareskrim,” ujarnya.
Pada akhirnya, kata Dedi, Mustofa justru tidak mengindahkan imbauan yang telah diberikan oleh Kepolisian. Salah satu buktinya, ia menyebut Mustofa mengunggah sebuah video hoaks tentang penganiayaan seorang anak oleh aparat Kepolisian dalam aksi kerusuhan 22 Mei 2019.
Unggahan video Mustofa, kata Dedi, telah membangkitkan emosi masyarakat terhadap aparat.
“Apakah ini dibiarkan? Kalaupun yang terjadi, penegakan hukum harus dilakukan. Karena untuk melindungi masyarakat juga,” ujar Dedi.
Atas penindakan terhadap Mustofa, Dedi meyakinkan masyarakat tidak terkait dengan kepentingan politik. Sebab, ia menyebut Kepolisian telah melakukan upaya pencegahan terhadap Mustofa.
“Jadi menegakkan hukum ini merupakan suatu langkah yang terakhir,” ujarnya.
Dedi menyatakan kepolisian menggunakan jejak digital sebagai bukti dalam menyidik Mustofa. Jejak digital itu, kata dia, juga tetap dianalisa di dalam laboratorium digital forensik yang dimiliki Kepolisian.
“Kami memiliki laboratorium digital forensik yang kualitasnya atau hasilnya tidak kalah dengan hasilnya dari FBI. Standarnya sama internasional,” ujar Dedi.
Di sisi lain, Dedi mengaku Kepolisian akan terus menjalin kerjasama dengan kementerian terkait untuk memberikan literasi tentang penggunaan media sosial dan internet sehat kepada masyarakat.[]
