Soal Pernyataan Petugas KPPS Diracun, Ustaz Rahmat Baequni Minta Maaf
MUSTANIR.net – Ustaz Rahmat Baequni mengaku tidak bermaksud menyebarkan informasi hoaks mengenai petugas KPPS meninggal dunia karena diracun lewat rokok pada pada Pilpres 2019. Rahmat pun meminta maaf atas pernyataannya itu yang sempat viral di media sosial.
“Saya Rahmat Baequni, yang selama ini menjadi viral bahwa saya dituduh menyebarkan berita hoaks tentang anggota KPPS yang saya mengatakan mereka mati diracun,” kata dia ketika dihubungi, Kamis (20/6/2019) malam.
“Sekali lagi demi Allah saya bersumpah atas nama Allah bahwa saya tidak bermaksud menyebarkan hoaks itu,” tambah Baequni yang biasa memberikan materi tentang Dajjal saat berceramah.
Rahmat menjelaskan pernyataannya soal petugas KPPS diracun hanya mengutip konten di Instagram yang diutarakan oleh beberapa orang dan pernyataan-pernyataan yang sempat pula menjadi pembahasan di media nasional.
“Tetapi saya hanya mengutip, berita yang saat itu beredar di media sosial di Instagram yang beberapa orang. Semua orang pun bahkan di majelis itu juga pada mengatakan bahwa ‘iya tahu’ bahwa ada informasi mereka seperti itu,” ungkap dia.
“Itu saya dapatkan saya hanya mengutip saja, demi Allah saya hanya mengutip saja dari media sosial yang saat itu sedang ramai, dan apalagi memang sudah diberitakan dengan ada beberapa di ILC (Indonesia Lawyer Club) dan sebagainya,” lanjut dia.
Rahmat pun menyampaikan permohonan maafnya kepada kepolisian, masyarakat, dan KPU. Sekali lagi, dia menegaskan, tidak bermaksud untuk menyebarkan hoaks di kalangan masyarakat.
“Maka dari itu saya meminta maaf kepada aparat kepolisian RI dan kepada masyarakat termasuk kepada KPU bahwa saya tidak bermaksud menyebarkan hoaks,” ungkap dia.
Terkait kasus ini, Polda Jabar telah menerima berkas kasus Rahmat Baequni dari Mabes Polri. Namun demikian, belum bisa disampaikan berkas kasus apakah terkait kasus hoaks atau tidak. Saat ini, polisi akan melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap berkas tersebut.[]
