Harga CPO Babak Belur, PHK Industri Sawit RI di Depan Mata

MUSTANIR.COM, Jakarta – Harga minyak sawit mentah (crude palm oil/CPO) hancur lebur, mencapai titik terendah dalam 3 tahun terakhir.
Berdasarkan data Bursa Derivatif Malaysia pada Rabu (21/11/2018) pukul 11.30 WIB, harga kontrak Februari 2019 berada di level MYR 1.960/ton.
Ketua bidang Ketenagakerjaan Gabungan Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (Gapki), Sumarjono Saragih, mengakui harga yang terus turun akan meningkatkan risiko pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) di industri.
Dia mengungkapkan fakta yang ada di lapangan saat ini, di mana pekerjaan panen dan perawatan kebun sudah berkurang, bahkan ada yang berhenti.
“Stok CPO penuh di tangki-tangki CPO karena tidak ada pembeli dan ditolak di pasar global,” kata Sumarjono kepada CNBC Indonesia, Rabu (21/11/2018) malam.
Jatuhnya harga CPO yang berkelanjutan ini paling memukul petani sawit di sektor hulu, terutama petani rakyat (mandiri) yang tidak bermitra dengan perusahaan sawit manapun.
Sumarjono mencontohkan, harga beli tandan buah segar (TBS) di pengepul di Indragiri Hulu, Riau selama sebulan terakhir sudah jatuh ke level Rp 880/kg, bahkan ada yang menyentuh Rp 600/kg. Banyak petani hanya bisa menjual ke pengepul karena Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS) masih kesulitan menyerap TBS baru.
“Padahal, biaya untuk menghasilkan 1 kg TBS kurang lebih Rp 800-1.000. Jadi supaya petani dapat income, harusnya di atas itu,” ujarnya.
Dia menegaskan, kondisi di beberapa pabrik kelapa sawit yang ada saat ini sudah di level berbahaya bila tidak ada pembeli dan perbaikan harga.
Perusahaan, menurutnya, terus berupaya semaksimal mungkin untuk menghindari PHK karena itu adalah petaka bagi pekerja dan pengusaha.
Namun, bila tidak ada solusi yang cepat untuk menaikkan harga CPO dari sektor hilir hingga ke hulu, Sumarjono memperingatkan bahwa ‘monster’ dan mimpi buruk PHK bisa menjadi nyata.
“Dampak lanjutan PHK adalah kriminalitas dan gejolak sosial di sentra-sentra produksi sawit, yang tentu akan jadi ancaman serius,” pungkasnya.
