Masya Allah, Megahnya Masjid Sukarno di Rusia!

MUSTANIR.COM, Saint Petersburg – Tak cuma Turki yang punya Blue Mosque, Rusia pun ada. Yang bikin keren, masjid ini punya ikatan dengan Presiden Sukarno. Julukannya pun jadi Masjid Sukarno.
Masjid Sukarno yang berada di Saint Petersburg, Rusia, memiliki nilai historis tersendiri bagi traveler Indonesia. Masjid yang juga dikenal dengan sebutan Blue Mosque itu juga membuat turis dari negara lain kepincut.
Seperti diketahui, kepemimpinan Presiden RI pertama Sukarno di era Orde Lama memang diakui dunia. Hubungan Indonesia dengan Rusia -waktu itu Uni Sovyet- pun sangat harmonis di era Sukarno.
Tak pelak, Rusia kala itu sangat menghormati Sukarno. Masjid Biru di Saint Petersburg bisa kembali digunakan juga berkat jasa Sang Proklamator.
detikTravel pun berkunjung ke sana, Kamis (15/11/2017). Informasi yang didapatkan, masjid yang memiliki nama asli Jamul Muslimin itu didirikan pada 1910. Selama Uni Soviet berkuasa, masjid itu akhirnya ditutup lantaran ketika itu semua rumah ibadah tak boleh digunakan di era komunisme. Blue Mosque kemudian dialihfungsi menjadi sebuah gudang.
Pada tahun 1956, Sukarno mengadakan kunjungan bilateral ke Rusia. Ia pun sempat singgah ke Kota St Petersburg yang ketika itu bernama Leningrad. Dalam lawatannya di St Petersburg, Sukarno melihat sebuah bangunan yang berkubah. Ia pun meyakini bangunan dengan kubah biru itu adalah sebuah masjid.
Sempat dilarang tentara Soviet, Sukarno yang dalam kunjungannya ke Rusia membawa sang putri, Megawati Soekarnoputri tersebut, diam-diam mendatangi Masjid Biru. Ia pun lalu meminta pimpinan Soviet kala itu, Nikita Khrushchev untuk mengembalikan fungsi masjid.
Pihak Soviet akhirnya merealisasikan permintaan Sukarno. Sejak saat itu, bagi mereka yang mengerti sejarah ini, menyebut Blue Mosque dengan Masjid Sukarno.
detikTravel sempat mengunjungi Masjid Sukarno beberapa waktu lalu. Lokasinya berada di tengah kota, dekat dengan Sungai Neva. Masjid Sukarno tidak begitu jauh dari Istana Musim Dingin Hermitage yang sangat terkenal itu.
Saat detikTravel datang berkunjung, sedang ada renovasi di bagian depan Masjid Sukarno. Meski begitu, hal tersebut tak mengentikan jemaah untuk datang beribadah. Kebetulan hari itu adalah hari Jumat, ribuan umat muslim dari berbagai etnis dan multi bangsa menjalankan ibadah Salat Jumat dengan kusyuk.
Bangunan masjid memiliki tiga lantai, meski begitu masih banyak juga jemaah yang melangsungkan ibadah Salat Jumat di halaman karena di dalam sudah sangat penuh. Terlihat para jemaah tertib menyusun sepatu dan tasnya di rak yang telah disediakan di luar masjid.
Banyak pedagang yang juga multi etnis menjajakan jualannya usai Salat Jumat. Ada yang berjualan roti, peci, hingga kurma. Karena jemaah kebanyakan memang dari berbagai bangsa, mereka akan saling mengucap salam dengan ucapan Assalamuallaikum.
Kemegahan Masjid Sukarno yang tampak dari luar turut terasa di bagian dalam. Masjid ini sungguh indah dengan granit-granit berwarna biru hingga hijau toska. Mayoritas dari granit-granit itu berbentuk mozaik namun tersusun dengan rapi.
Meski begitu, tampak juga ukiran kayu di dalam masjid. Masjid Sukarno bisa menampung hingga 7.000 jemaah. Saat Idul Fitri tiba, lautan umat Muslim akan tampak berjejer untuk salat Ied hingga sepanjang jalan di depan Masjid Sukarno.
Keindahan Masjid Sukarno juga membuat turis non-Muslim terpesona. Seperti Ulia dari Belarus yang datang bersama temannya ke Saint Petersburg. Keduanya langsung berfoto di depan Masjid Sukarno.
“Sangat cantik dan full warna,” kata Ulia, salah satu wisatawan kepada detikTravel usia berfoto.
Tak hanya Uli, Sofie yang merupakan turis dari Jerman juga sengaja datang ke Masjid Sukarno karena ingin memotret kemegahannya. Ia yang datang berdua bersama teman menenteng kamera profesional. Usai puas mengabadikan gambar Masjid Sukarno, Sofie dan temannya juga tampak berfoto.
“Ini pertama kali saya ke kota ini. Masjid ini bagus sekali, colorful. Di Jerman nggak ada Masjid secolorful ini. Bangunan juga unik,” ucap Sofie.
Bagi traveler muslim yang hendak bertandang ke Masjid Sukarno, ada baiknya mengecek cuaca setempat terlebih dahulu. Sebab saat musim gugur sekalipun, cuaca Rusia sudah sangat dingin. Apalagi ketika musim dingin, cuaca di Rusia bisa mencapai -30 derajat celcius.
“Persiapan bahasa juga lebih baik biar tidak tersesat dan jangan lupa bawa jaket tebal karena Rusia sangat ekstrem musim dinginnya,” saran Jeff Timothy, warga Indonesia yang berkuliah di Saint Petersburg.
