Wacana Islam Nusantara, Islamisasi Tidak Sama Dengan Arabisasi
Mustanir.com – Munculnya wacana Islam Nusantara di tengah-tengah umat Islam Indonesia bersamaan dengan adanya penolakan atau sikap anti terhadap budaya Arab. Hal itu terjadi karena ada anggapan bahwa proses Islamisasi merupakan proses Arabisasi.
“Justru proses Islamisasi itu sebenarnya juga tidak sama dengan proses Arabisasi,” kata peneliti Pusat Studi Peradaban Islam (PSPI), Susiyanto, M. Ag, Kamis (18/06).
Saat ini banyak kalangan akademisi terutama yang berasal dari kelompok liberal menganggap bahwa Islam adalah Arab, dan begitu juga sebaliknya. Susiyanto menilai bahwa Islam Nusantara yang kini diwacanakan seolah-olah menempatkan Islam yang ada di Nusantara terpisah dari sumbernya.
Selain itu istilah Islam Nusantara yang digelontorkan di dalam beberapa artikel yang tersebar di berbagai media massa seperti mencoba untuk memisah-misahkan umat Islam.
Kandidat Doktor Universitas Ibnu Khaldun ini menambahkan yang terlihat kemudian adalah wacana tersebut justru diarahkan untuk menyerang entitas Arab. Akibatnya yang muncul adalah pertanyaan apakah Islam Nusantara memang terpisah dengan Islam yang lain.
“Seolah-olah menafikkan bahwa umat Islam itu juga ada di Arab, juga ada di belahan dunia yang lain,” tandas pengamat sejarah Islam ini. (kiblatnet/adj)

Keberadaan isu Islam Nusantara yang disampaikan oleh Menteri Agama beberapa waktu lalu disinyalir merupakan sebuah agenda deradikalisasi. Ini adalah sebuah ide reaksioner atas penegakkan Islam yang terjadi di dunia arab yang penuh konflik dan pertumpahan darah.
Walaupun Islam Nusantara belum memiliki pengejawantahan yang baku, namun kaum muslimin harus tetap berhati-hati supaya tidak masuk dalam agenda moderatisasi Islam dan dalam rangka deradikalisasi.
