Mustanir.com – Fadhilatusy Syaikh Muhammad bin Shalih al-Utsaimin rahimahullah pernah ditanya tentang keanekaragaman jama’ah-jama’ah Islamiyah yang tak jarang di antara mereka saling menerapkan bara’ (berlepas diri), dan juga sikap yang harus diambil ketika terjadi perbedaan pendapat. Beliau memberikan penjelasan sebagai berikut:
Tidak dapat disangkal lagi bahwa perpecahan, saling memvonis sesat, permusuhan, dan kebencian yang terjadi dikalangan para pemuda yang komitmen, sebagian terhadap sebagian yang lainnya yang tidak sepaham dengan manhaj masing-masing, adalah suatu hal yang menyedihkan dan sangat disayangkan, bahkan bisa jadi menimbulkan dampak yang serius.
Perpecahan seperti ini ibarat penyejuk mata hati para syaithan dari bangsa jin dan manusia, sebab mereka tidak menyenangi apabila ahli kebajikan bersatu. Mereka menginginkan ahli kebajikan tersebut berpecah-belah karena mereka (para syaithan tersebut) mengetahui bahwa perpecahan akan meluluhlantakkan kekuatan yang dihasilkan oleh sikap komitmen dan ketaatan kepada Allah Subhanahu wata’ala. Hal ini telah disinyalir oleh firmanNya, artinya, “Dan janganlah kamu berbantah-bantahan, yang menyebabkan kamu menjadi gentar dan hilang kekuatanmu”. (QS. al-Anfal: 46).
“Dan berselisih sesudah datang keterangan yang jelas kepada mereka”. (QS. Ali ‘Imran: 105)
“Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang memecah belah agamanya dan mereka (terpecah) menjadi beberapa golongan, tidak ada sedikitpun tanggung jawabmu terhadap mereka”. (QS. al-An’am: 159)
“Dia telah mensyari’atkan bagi kamu tentang agama apa yang telah diwasiatkanNya kepada Nuh dan apa yang telah Kami wasiatkan kepada Ibrahim, Musa dan Isa yaitu: Tegakkanlah agama dan janganlah kamu berpecah belah tentangnya”. (QS. asy-Syuro: 13)
Allah Subhanahu wata’ala telah melarang kita berpecah belah dan menjelaskan tentang akibatnya yang sangat buruk. Sudah merupakan kewajiban bagi kita untuk menjadi umat yang bersatu dan satu kata (bersepakat). Perpecahan hanyalah akan merusak dan meluluhlantakkan urusan serta mengakibatkan lemahnya umat Islam. Di antara para shahabat pun terjadi perbedaan pendapat, akan tetapi hal itu tidak menimbulkan perpecahan, permusuhan dan kebencian. Bahkan perbedaan pendapat itu terjadi pada masa Nabi shallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam.
Sepulang beliau dari perang Ahzab (Khandaq), ketika itu, Jibril ‘alaihissalam datang dan memerintahkannya agar bergerak menuju perkampungan Bani Quraizhah sebab mereka telah membatalkan perjanjian. Beliau shallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam lalu bersabda kepada para shahabatnya, “Janganlah sekali-kali salah seorang di antara kalian melakukan shalat ‘Ashar kecuali (bila sudah tiba) di perkampungan Bani Quraizhah”.Mereka pun bergerak dari Madinah menuju perkampungan Bani Quraizhah, sementara waktu ‘Ashar pun sudah tiba, lalu sebagian mereka berkata, ‘Kita tidak boleh melakukan shalat, melainkan di perkampungan Bani Quraizhah meskipun matahari sudah terbenam sebab Nabi shallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam bersabda, “Janganlah sekali-kali salah seorang di antara kalian melakukan shalat ‘Ashar melainkan (bila sudah tiba) di perkampungan Bani Quraizhah”, karenanya kita harus mengatakan, “Sami’nâ wa atha’nâ” (Kami dengar dan kami patuh).
Sebagian mereka yang lain berkata, “Sesungguhnya Rasulullah shallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam bermaksud agar kita bergegas dan bergerak cepat keluar, dan bukan bermaksud agar mengakhirkan shalat”. Perihal tersebut kemudian sampai ke telinga Rasulullah shallallaahu alaihi wasalam, namun beliau shallallaahu alaihi wasalam tidak mencerca salah seorang pun di antara mereka, tidak pula mencemooh pemahaman mereka. Jadi, mereka sendiri tidak berpecah-belah hanya karena berbeda pendapat di dalam memahami hadits Rasulullah shallallaahu alaihi wasalam.
Demikian juga dengan kita, wajib untuk tidak berpecah-belah dan menjadi umat yang bersatu. Sedangkan bila yang terjadi justru perpecahan, maka bahayanya sangat besar. Optimisme yang kita harapkan dan cita-citakan dari kebangkitan Islam ini akan menjadi sirna, manakala kita mengetahui bahwa ia hanya akan dimiliki oleh kelompok-kelompok yang berpecah-belah, satu sama lain saling memvonis sesat dan mencela.
Solusi dari problematika ini adalah hanya dengan meniti jalan yang telah ditempuh oleh para shahabat radiyallaahu ‘anhum, mengetahui bahwa perbedaan pendapat yang bersumber dari ijtihad ini adalah dalam taraf masalah yang masih bisa ditolerir berijtihaddi dalamnya dan mengetahui bahwa perbedaan pendapat ini tidak berpengaruh bahkan ia sebenarnya adalah persepakatan.
Bagaimana bisa demikian? Saya berbeda pendapat dengan anda dalam satu masalah dari sekian banyak masalah karena indikasi dari dalil yang ada pada anda berbeda dengan yang ada pada pendapat saya. Realitasnya, kita bukan berbeda pendapat sebab pendapat kita diambil berdasarkan asumsi bahwa inilah indikasi dari dalil tersebut. Jadi, indikasi dari dalil itu ada di depan mata kita semua dan masing-masing kita tidak mengambil pendapatnya sendiri saja melainkan karena menganggapnya sebagai indikasi dari dalil. Karenanya, saya berterima kasih dan memuji anda karena anda telah berani berbeda pendapat dengan saya. Saya adalah saudara dan teman anda, sebab perbedaan pendapat ini merupakan bagian dari indikasi dari dalil yang menurut anda, sehingga wajib bagi saya untuk tidak menyimpan sesuatu ganjalan pun di hati saya terhadap anda bahkan saya memuji anda atas pendapat anda tersebut, demikian juga halnya dengan anda. Andaikata masing-masing kita memaksakan pendapatnya untuk diambil pihak lain, niscaya pemaksaan yang saya lakukan terhadapnya agar mengambil pendapat saya tersebut, tidak lebih utama daripada sikap pemaksaan yang sama yang dilakukannya terhadap saya.
Oleh karena itu, saya tegaskan: Wajib bagi kita menjadikan perbedaan pendapat yang dibangun atas suatu ijtihad bukan sebagai perpecahan, tetapi persepakatan sehingga terjadi titik temu dan kebaikan dapat diraih.
Akan tetapi, bila ada yang berkata, “Bisa jadi solusi seperti ini tidak mudah direalisasikan oleh kalangan orang awam, lalu apa solusi lainnya?”
Solusinya, hendaknya para pemimpin kaum dan pemukanya yang meliputi semua pihak berkumpul untuk mengadakan tela’ah dan kajian terhadap beberapa permasalahan yang diperselisihkan di antara kita, sehingga kita bisa bersatu dan berpadu hati.
Pada suatu tahun pernah terjadi suatu kasus di Mina yang sempat saya dan sebagian saudara saya tangani. Barangkali masalahnya terdengar aneh bagi anda. Ada dua pihak dihadirkan, masing-masing pihak beranggotakan 3-4 orang laki-laki, masing-masing saling menuduh kafir dan melaknat, padahal mereka sedang melaksanakan haji. Ceritanya begini; salah satu pihak menyatakan, “Sesungguhnya pihak yang lain itu ketika berdiri untuk melakukan shalat, meletakkan tangan kanan mereka di atas tangan kiri pada posisi atas dada.” Ini adalah kekufuran terhadap sunnah di mana sunnahnya menurut pihak ini mengulur tangan ke bawah, di atas kedua paha. Sementara pihak yang lain mengatakan, “Sesungguhnya mengulur tangan ke bawah, di atas kedua paha dengan tidak meletakkan tangan kanan di atas tangan kiri merupakan perbuatan kufur yang membolehkan laknatan.” Perseteruan di antara mereka sangat tajam. Akan tetapi, berkat anugerah dari Allah Subhanahu waTa’ala, usaha yang dilakukan sebagian saudara saya itu dibarengi dengan penjelasan mengenai pentingnya perpaduan hati di antara umat Islam, mereka pun mau pergi dari tempat itu dan masing-masing mereka akhirnya saling ridla.
Lihatlah, betapa syaithan telah mempermainkan mereka di dalam masalah yang mereka perselisihkan ini sampai kepada taraf saling mengafirkan satu sama lainnya. Padahal sebenarnya ia hanyalah salah satu amalan sunnah, bukan termasuk rukun Islam, bukan juga fardlu atau wajibnya. Inti dari permasalahan itu, ada sebagian ulama yang berpendapat bahwa meletakkan tangan di atas tangan kiri pada posisi di atas dada adalah sunnah hukumnya, sementara ulama yang lain menyatakan bahwa sunnahnya adalah mengulur tangan ke bawah. Padahal pendapat yang tepat dan didukung oleh as-Sunnah (hadits) adalah meletakkan tangan kanan di atas pergelangan tangan kiri sebagaimana hadits yang diriwayatkan oleh Imam al-Bukhari dari Sahl bin Sa’dradiyallaahu ‘anhu, dia berkata, “Dulu orang-orang diperintahkan agar seseorang meletakkan tangan kanan di atas pergelangan tangan kirinya di dalam shalat”.
Saya memohon kepada Allah Subhanahu waTa’ala agar menganugerahkan perpaduan hati, kecintaan dan kelurusan hati kepada saudara-saudara kami yang memiliki manhaj tersendiri di dalam sarana berdakwah. Bila niat sudah betul, maka akan mudahlah solusinya. Sedangkan bila niat belum betul dan masing-masing di antara mereka berbangga diri terhadap pendapatnya serta tidak menghiraukan pendapat yang lainnya, maka semakin jauhlah upaya mencapai kesuksesan .
