Identitas Politik Mahasiswa Muslim Itu Semestinya Hanya Islam
MUSTANIR.net – Instruktur Nasional Moderasi Beragama Thobib al-Asyhar dari Kementerian Agama berpesan agar mahasiswa mewaspadai hoaks dan politisasi agama jelang Pemilu 2024. Imbauan itu disampaikan pada diskusi bertema ‘Penguatan Moderasi Beragama di Perguruan Tinggi’ dalam kegiatan Perkemahan Wirakarya Nasional (PWN) ke-XVI di Kampus 2 IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo, Limboto, Gorontalo, Selasa (23-5-2023).
Thobib juga menyatakan bahwa dengan kesadaran beragama yang kuat, agama akan diposisikan di ruang dan jalan yang benar. Menurutnya, masyarakat juga tidak akan mudah dipengaruhi oleh kelompok tertentu yang berupaya memanfaatkan isu agama untuk kepentingan sempitnya, seperti politik identitas. Ia menegaskan, agama harus menjadi sarana inspirasi dalam berpolitik dan kehidupan bermasyarakat.
Hanya Islam
Pengamat politik Endiyah Puji Tristanti menanggapi pernyataan di atas, dengan menyatakan, identitas politik mahasiswa muslim itu semestinya hanya Islam. Endiyah, begitu ia disapa, menilai adanya kekacauan dalam pemikiran ‘dengan kesadaran beragama yang kuat, agama akan diposisikan di ruang dan jalan yang benar’.
“Nastaghfirullahal adzim, naudzubillahi min dzalik. Sungguh kacau sekali pemikiran mendasar pejabat muslim yang menyatakan bahwa dengan kesadaran beragama yang kuat, agama akan diposisikan di ruang dan jalan yang benar,” tuturnya kepada redaksi MNews, Senin (30-5-2023).
Ia melanjutkan bahwa agama itu pasti benar, tidak mungkin ada kesalahan di mana pun dan kapan pun. “Karena jika agama berpeluang salah, maka tidak layak menjadi agama, tidak boleh diyakini manusia. Bagi seorang muslim agama adalah pondasi kehidupan, way of life,” jelasnya.
Akibat Moderasi Beragama
Endiyah menegaskan bahwa masalah ini adalah akibat materi moderasi beragama yang masuk dalam kurikulum pendidikan dan terus diaruskan. “Fatal akibatnya, rusak akidah Islam generasi muda kita kalau para instruktur pendidikannya berpikiran liberal sekuler,” kritiknya.
Dalam Islam, lanjutnya, agama datang untuk meluruskan apa saja yang salah dalam ruang dan waktu kapan pun kehidupan manusia itu ada. “Agama ada untuk menstandarisasi kehidupan manusia, agama bukan untuk distandarisasi oleh pikiran bebas manusia,” ucapnya.
Ia menyayangkan, banyaknya pernyataan para pejabat hari ini yang tidak dipikir dengan bimbingan wahyu. “Pernyataan bahwa agar masyarakat tidak mudah dipengaruhi oleh kelompok tertentu yang memanfaatkan isu agama untuk kepentingan politik identitas, ini bias dan liar,” terangnya.
Masyarakat Bodoh
Endiyah menyampaikan jika nasihat itu menunjukkan seakan-akan masyarakat bodoh. “Sama saja, secara tidak langsung memandang mayoritas masyarakat muslim di negeri ini bodoh sehingga mudah dipengaruhi. Seolah hanya pejabat saja yang pintar dan paham agama Islam. Padahal faktanya,yang korupsi, jual aset rakyat, doyan utang luar negeri yang jelas ribawi bukan rakyat. Berarti, yang pemahaman agamanya patut dipertanyakan justru yang pegang jabatan,” jelasnya.
Selain itu, ia juga memaparkan, pernyataan itu menuduh kelompok tertentu, tetapi tidak menyebut dengan jelas siapa kelompok yang dimaksud. “Padahal, setiap kelompok punya nama. Mengapa tidak disebut?” tanyanya.
Ia menilai pernyataan seperti ini sengaja dimunculkan untuk mengadu-domba sesama anggota masyarakat agar saling menuduh, saling melabeli, serta menciptakan friksi dan perpecahan. “Statement ngawur dan tidak bertanggung jawab!” tegasnya.
Penuh Kedengkian
Endiyah menegaskan hal ini menunjukkan kedengkian terhadap agama. “Jika kita kaitkan dengan agenda war on terrorism atau war on radicalism yang dipropagandakan Barat, maka jelas yang dimaksud agama di sini adalah Islam,” tukasnya.
Ia menyayangkan ada muslim tetapi membenci Islam. “Ini sudah rusak agamanya dan merusak agama banyak orang jika ada yang mengikutinya,” terangnya.
Pemikiran Sekularisme
Endiyah menunjukkan, hal ini merupakan propaganda pemikiran sekularisme. “Menjadikan Islam sebagai identitas politik seorang muslim atau kelompok umat Islam itu wajar, bahkan sebuah keniscayaan,” tukasnya.
Ia menilai, justru dipertanyakan keberislaman seorang muslim atau kelompok umat Islam yang tidak mau menjadikan Islam sebagai identitas politiknya hanya karena ingin mendapatkan suara atau hanya karena ingin mendapatkan ‘sponsor’ dari oligarki dengan syarat steril dari Islam.
“Oleh karenanya, mahasiswa dan pemuda muslim harus cerdas, jangan sampai masuk dalam jerat pemikiran sekularisme dengan meniadakan peran agama dalam kehidupan politik,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, ia menilai bahwa ini adalah wujud pragmatisme politik. “Islam itu tinggi dan tidak ada yang lebih tinggi dari Islam. Siapa saja dan kelompok mana saja yang membawa Islam pasti akan dinaikkan derajatnya oleh Allah Taala,” jelasnya.
Menurutnya, ini soal idealisme dalam hidup. “Dalam hidup ada politik. Berpolitik harus memiliki idealisme. Tanpa idealisme, yang tersisa hanya pragmatisme. Pragmatisme dalam politik sama saja bunuh diri politik,” tukasnya.
Desain Sekularisme
Endiyah mengingatkan, partai Islam yang mengikuti desain sekularisme tidak pernah menang. “Coba kita ingat-ingat, realitas partai politik dengan label Islam dan berbasis massa muslim tidak pernah menjadi parpol yang besar. Perolehan suaranya selalu juara dari belakang, tidak pernah menang, padahal sudah mengikuti desain sekularisme dengan tidak menyerukan Islam politik, Islam syariah, Islam kafah,” terangnya.
Dengan begitu, menurutnya, pragmatisme politik hakikatnya adalah bunuh diri politik. “Untuk itu, menjelang tahun politik seperti ini, para mahasiswa dan pelajar muslim yang telah memiliki hak suara sebaiknya menyiapkan bekal iman dan takwa yang kokoh, serta mencari literasi pendidikan politik yang sahih. Ini karena semua sedang melirik pemilih muda berupaya menarik mereka agar memberikan suaranya kepada calon dan partai kompetitor pemilu,” lanjutnya.
Ia menegaskan, mahasiswa tidak semestinya mengorbankan pemahaman dan keyakinan terhadap Islam demi menggunakan hak pilih. “Cerdas berpihak, cermat memberikan pilihan sebab setiap keputusan politik seorang muslim akan diminta pertanggungjawaban di Yaumil Hisab,” tandasnya. []
