Interfax mengatakan, medianya menulis berita itu dari sumber diplomat Rusia yang dekat dengan orang-orang yang terlibat dalam pembicaraan, yang digelar di Jenewa itu. Menurut sumber, rencana yang diusulakan memberi peringatan kelompok bersenjata di Aleppo meletakkan senjata dan meninggalkan kota.
Jika menolak, mereka akan menjadi target serangan. Rencana ini, kata sumber, bertujuan membersihkan Alepo dan sekitarnya dari gerilyawan.
Kantor berita Al-Jazeera menunjukkan, pembahasan militer itu digelar setelah Menlu Rusia John Kerry bertemu Menlu Rusia Sergie Lavrov di Jenewa Jumat lalu. Pertemuan itu sendiri membahas situasi terakhir di Suriah.

Menurut informasi yang diterima Al-Jazeera, Lavrov mendat daftar dari Kerry kelompok-kelompok bersenjata di Aleppo yang menurut AS bisa diajak kerja sama. Pertemuan Lavrov dan Kerry di Jenewa Jumat lalu memetakan kelompok-kelompok oposisi yang dianggap teroris dan bukan.
Jika kedua negara sepakat pemetaan itu, operasi pembersihan kelompok oposisi di Aleppo kian dekat. (kiblatnet/adj)
